Since taking office in 2008, Carson has established himself as an influential and respected leader in Indiana and Washington D.C. by fighting for quality jobs, economic growth, and safer communities for working families. Carson serves as a Senior Whip for the House Democratic Caucus and as a member of the Congressional Black Caucus's Executive Leadership Team in the 113th Congress. He is a dynamic, progressive and powerful speaker for the Indiana delegation, as well as an exemplary public servant with a highly approachable personal style. We are honored to have Congressman Carson as part of this annual Homecoming event for the members of our Monroe County Democratic family.
