In America, we’re free to think, we’re free to speak and we’re, fundamentally, free to vote.
First, I believe in our great country and our fundamental right to vote. I want voting to be an action we feel encouraged to perform, not one that we experience as a challenge. It needs to be protected and voting needs to be made easier.
I’m running for Secretary of State to make sure that this vision will always be a reality.
Second, I’ve been a small business owner, I am excited about the vital role the Secretary of State can play in the strengthening and sustaining of all businesses here in Indiana – small and big. It’s a fact that small business is the backbone of our economy. Considering the state of our current economic climate, I believe that linking small and new businesses to more resources should be our number one priority.
I’m running for Secretary of State to make sure small businesses can find resources quicker, faster, and easier. This will help in sustaining new businesses and, subsequently, jobs.
Third, we’ve all been impacted by the state of the economy. Corporate mismanagement and greed have affected both the young and old Hoosiers in our state. I will be an advocate for investors. I’ll enforce our securities laws by bringing action against people who violate our laws, before they impact Hoosier families.
I’m running for secretary of state to ensure that Hoosier families feel confident to invest their savings. This will help in the continued growth of our economy.
I’ll work hard to protect our voting, and work to strengthen our economy by helping our small businesses find resources, and protecting our Hoosier investors.
