POLL WORKERS NEEDED 

There will still be in person voting in this year's primary.

As such, Monroe County is seeking poll workers. Polling locations have been reduced and all workers will be supplied a face shield, mask, gloves and plenty of hand sanitizer as well as continuous cleaning throughout the day. There will be someone at each location designated to monitor flow of traffic and social distancing.  

There is a first come first served basis for applicants seeking to work the polls as the time to fill roles and train workers is limited.

If you are interested in working at a polling location, please respond to osaft20@gmail.com ASAP with the following information:

  1. POSITION (Inspector, Judge, Clerk or Sherriff) …. If you are not sure or are new, just reply that haven’t previously worked and I can assist with placement.
  2. LOCATION these are the ONLY polling sites for the Primary Election:
  • Arlington Heights Elementary
  • Bloomington City Hall
  • City Church
  • Edgewood High School
  • Grandview School
  • Sherwood Oaks Church
  • Southside Christian Church

    3. TRAINING DATE/TIME AVAILABILITY:  They will be using NEW MACHINES that will require mandatory training for all workers.

       MAY 23 at 8am

       MAY 25 at NOON and 5pm

       MAY 26 at 8am

  •    Clerks ONLY:

       MAY 27 at 9am, NOON and 5pm

       MAY 29 at 9am and NOON

  •   Sherriff ONLY:

       MAY 28 at 8am

       MAY 29 at 11am

The Geoff Bradley for Monroe County Circuit Court Judge campaign is seeking out volunteers to help phonebank on behalf of Geoff ahead of the June 2nd Democratic Primary. Phonebanking will be a crucial method to getting out the vote throughout Monroe County, since canvassing has been delayed in light of COVID-19. The City of Bloomington Office of the City Clerk is accepting applications to fill vacated positions on several of the city’s commissions. Some of these vacancies, and the date the City Clerk’s office sent out press releases soliciting applicants, are listed below:
