Dear Fellow Monroe County Democrats,
My name is Robert (Bob) Loviscek and on January 31st, I filed to run for Bloomington Township Board. I look forward to having conversations about issues facing members of the township community, and will work hard to understand the challenges and obstacles for township government in the future.
I served my country for 10 years in the active duty Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1997. I joined the Speedway (Indiana) Fire Department in 1998 and in 2003, I moved to Bloomington to take my current position with the City of Bloomington Fire Department. I reside in Bloomington Township with my wife Kari, and our 2 children Madison and Robbie. I am a 3rd generation Public Safety professional and a proud International Association of Firefighters Union member as were my father and grandfather before me.
I have always taken on responsibility, and leadership has come naturally. The loyalty, respect and compassion I try to have in my everyday life help in being a public servant. It is a challenge to live a life in Public Safety, but I believe if you make the commitment to do it and take nothing for granted, you can and will be successful. These are some of the qualities I hope to bring as a member of the Bloomington Township Board.
If you need any additional information on my campaign, please email me at loviscek86@gmail.com.
Thank you for your consideration and remember to vote!
Respectfully,
Robert (Bob) Loviscek, Jr
