Monroe Circuit Court Judge Mary Ellen Diekhoff attended Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington. She was in private practice after graduation before spending 17 years with the Monroe County Prosecutors Office where she prosecuted a range of cases. In her role as First Deputy Prosecuting Attorney she was responsible for most major felony prosecutions. She was elected Monroe County Circuit Court Judge in the fall of 2004 and is running for re-election to a second term. She currently presides over a Criminal Court and is the presiding Judge of the Monroe County Drug Treatment Court. Mary Ellen is married to Mike and they have a daughter, Caitlin.
